Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Konfya, a service operated by DBC GAFE INNOVATION SARL, in Cameroon. By using the app, you accept these terms.

1. The service

Konfya is a platform that connects clients with independent service providers. Konfya facilitates the connection but is not a party to the service contract between the client and the provider, and does not itself perform the services.

2. Eligibility and account

The service is intended for adults. You create an account using your phone number, verified by a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and number confidential.

3. User roles

A user may act as a client (posting requests) and/or as a provider. To appear in a service category, a provider subscribes to a plan.

4. Subscriptions and paid features

Some features are paid: provider subscriptions, the Pro Verified badge, promotions and visibility options. Payments are processed by CinetPay (Mobile Money).

Paid features are non-refundable. All purchases are final, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

5. User content

You are responsible for the content you post (descriptions, photos, voice notes, messages). Illegal, misleading, offensive or infringing content is prohibited. Konfya may moderate, remove content or suspend an account in the event of a breach.

6. Safety and trust

Konfya offers trust features (identity verification, ratings and reviews, an SOS alert button). These help you decide but do not guarantee the quality or safety of the services. You remain the sole judge of who you choose to work with.

7. Prohibited conduct

  • Fraud, impersonation or fake reviews.
  • Harassment, threats or any abusive behaviour.
  • Circumventing the platform to evade its safety rules.

8. Intellectual property

The Konfya name, logo and app elements are the property of DBC GAFE INNOVATION SARL. No use is permitted without prior agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. Konfya connects users but does not guarantee the availability, timeliness or quality of the services delivered by independent providers.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app. Konfya may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Cameroonian courts.
